Janis attended Camosun College, where she earned a Diploma in Business Administration & Marketing, then took off on a four-year stint at sea, to focus on honing her customer service skills while traveling, and catering to high-end clientele aboard luxury yachts.

She was previously employed for two and half years as a Marketing Coordinator for a local distrubutor of playground equipment, before deciding to go out on her own and freelance her Marketing and PR services.

Her most recent contract job involved managing an online contest during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics and promoting it through social media channels such as Twitter, Flickr, Facebook, and blogging. She also manages the marketing for her real estate agent brother, Wesley Behan, who works out of the RE/MAX Crest Realty (Westside) office.

Janis joins the Alex Lee PR team as our Social Media + PR Specialist. She will concentrate her skills and passion for social media to promote our clients to gain maximum exposure online. She’s a dedicated, passionate and full of energy and an exceptional addition to the team!
